Where is Cecil Taylor performing next?
Submitted by heathdwatts on Fri, 2008-09-19 03:40.I saw Cecil perform once in Philadelphia, two years ago, and I'm eager to see him again. Does anyone know of a website or mailing service that will keep me up to date about his shows? He once had a website, but sadly it's gone. Thanks!
Best,
Heath

He will be in New York from the 12th to the 21st of June, and if any of the fine citizens of the US and Canada who post here could come forward with any suggestions/opportunities for performances I'm sure Bruce would very much appreciate it.
He can be contacted at bruce.percy@aanet.com.au

Please come and see the show if you're in NYC on Friday. We'll start at 8 PM and there are other great players performing before and after us. We'll be playing high energy free jazz and the show will be a lot of fun and the music will be a nice way to help everyone heal from the prior day's festivities.
The players in the group are:
Matt Lavelle (www.myspace.com/mattlavelle) bass clarinet and trumpet
Robert W. Getz (www.myspace.com/robertwgetz) piano
Francious Grillot bass
